“They (troll army) attack people who are on social media. They want to hurt you and scare you until you are silenced. In my case, initially they targeted me. Issued fatwas against me. When they failed to silence me, they started targeting my family,” said the filmmaker.

Narrating an incident about his daughter, Agnihotri said, “My daughter was targeted by a fact checking website called Alt News. They started picking up her photos and started attacking me with that. Then I realised that this is all organised. They want to demoralise you. It is up to you whether you want to accept the defeat or keep supporting the truth until they themselves are shut.”
