Award-winning filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri and his wife and actress Pallavi Joshi graced the annual convention of OTV Foresight 2023 in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
Vivek Agnihotri, who has been in the limelight since the release of his blockbuster movie ‘The Kashmir Files’, spoke on several issues including his film-making journey and his life post the release of the movie on genocide of Kashmiri Pandits.
During the same event, when Agnihotri was asked about his obsession with the term ‘files’, his wife Pallavi Joshi was quick to reply revealing that his (Agnihotri’s) father was a government employee and that is why he is obsessed with the term.
“I have seen so many issues buried under the files, I sometimes feel that our country is suffering from the tremendous pressure of these files only. No wonder, this word has become so popular, but a lot of people tell me that, Elon Musk’s Twitter Files was inspired from me too.”
It is pertinent to mention here that Agnihotri already has three movies with the term ‘files’ with two already being released (The Tashkent Files and The Kashmir Files) and one being in the pipeline (The Delhi Files)
