The grilling of Shradhanjali has assumed importance in the backdrop of the ED preparing to take Nag and her husband Jagabandhu Chand on remand.

Shradhanjali, who was grilled for around 14 hours by the ED, reportedly told the officials the names of some influential people from whom Archana had extorted money. 

The police, who arrested the 52-year-old tantrik on Monday, said on Wednesday that as per the accused, the deceased man was chasing his daughter for which he wanted to teach him a lesson.

The victim claimed the women made him unconscious and abducted him when he was showing them the address.
