Lady blackmailer Archana’s aide Shradhanjali deposes before ED for 2nd time

Shradhanjali Behera, one of the close associates of lady blackmailer Archana Nag, on Friday deposed before the Enforcement Directorate for the second time for questioning in connection with the extortion of Rs 3 crore from well-known Odia film producer Akshay Parija. 

The grilling of Shradhanjali has assumed importance in the backdrop of the ED preparing to take Nag and her husband Jagabandhu Chand on remand. 

She had earlier appeared before the ED on November 23 and was grilled for 14 to 15 hours. While the ED officials had managed to elicit crucial information on that day, it is also believed that they will make her divulge many things today as well. 

Since Shardhanjali used to be the queen of the honeytrap laid by Nag, the ED officials are learnt to get information from her as to how she came in contact with Nag and who were the persons caught in their trap. 

The ED officials are also investigating into the financial transactions of her accounts. 

These are the probable questions the ED officials may ask Shradhanjali: How she made acquaintance with Akshay Parija? How the financial transactions were taking place? Did Parija give Archana a huge amount? Is there any other link with Parija? Is she aware of Nag’s financial transactions? From what sources Nag accumulated such huge properties? How she was associated with Nag? How much money she received from Nag? Since when had she been used in honey trapping high profile persons?  How much money had she collected from such persons? Who are the other persons involved in the honey trap? Who is the mastermind of the honey trap? How much money did Nag, Jagabandhu and Khageswar accumulate? 

Notably, Odia film producer Akshay Parija had lodged a complaint at Nayapalli police station last month alleging Nag and Shradhanjali demanded Rs 3 crore from him.
