India witnesses a sharp drop in daily infections. Country recorded 9,062 COVID cases in the last 24 hours. Daily positivity rate currently stands at 2.49 %. Weekly positivity rate is currently at 4.38%. 36 COVID19 deaths reported in the past 24 hours. Virus death toll in country rises to 5,27,134. India’s active caseload is currently at 1,05,058.

The daily positivity rate was recorded at 2.49 per cent and the weekly positivity rate at 4.38 per cent, the ministry said.
