Thailavar Rajinikanth needs no introduction. The legendary actor is celebrated for his iconic style, powerful screen presence, and larger-than-life persona. With a career spanning decades, he's not just a superstar in the Indian film industry but a cultural icon admired globally. Moreover, he is worshipped as a demigod by his fans globally. Even at the age of 73, Thailavar is uber-famous and enjoys an army of fans globally. And now, the Indian film industry is prepping to give a tribute to the living legend through his biopic.

As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala is silently working on a global film and it is none other than Thalaivar Rajinikanth's biopic. 

As per the report, a close source to the development revealed that Sajid Nadiadwala has signed a mega contract with Rajinikanth to procure the rights of making his biopic.

The source was quoted as saying, "Very few know that Sajid Nadiadwala is a big fan of not just Rajinikanth the actor, but also Rajinikanth the person. He believes that Rajinikanth’s story deserves to be seen by the world – from a bus conductor to a superstar."

Further, he added, "Sajid is personally looking into the script and working towards getting the film to the spectacle.”

Furthermore, the source revealed that the filmmaker has been in touch with Rajinikanth's family constantly to collect authentic information for the story.

"The idea is to make a film that stands the test of time. It’s the greatest rags to riches story, and will focus more on Rajinikanth the human,” he added.

If the reports are anything to go by, the biopic will go on floors in 2025. , the casting will be done once the team has finalised the script.
