In a major development in the controversy involving actor Babushaan and Prakruti Mishra, the latter on Wednesday filed a defamation suit of Rs 5.10 crore against the former's wife and her father.

Ollywood actress Prakruti Mishra on Tuesday moved the Orissa High Court alleging police apathy in connection with the FIR she had lodged against actor Babushaan’s wife Trupti Satapathy.

Ollywood actor Babushaan Mohanty, who was recently embroiled in a controversy involving his wife Trupti Satpathy and his Premam movie co-actor Prakruti Mishra, has apologised to his in-laws and the people of Odisha.

Babushaan promised not to commit such mistake again

Sharing a video on her Instagram page, Prakruti wrote, “Saare Jahan Se Acha. Happy Independence day to everyone. Jai Hind. #HarGharTiranga #IndependenceDay #India.”

Prakruti has shared a post in her Instagram account before leaving for Mumbai and her post has become the talk of the town. 

Huge number of fans thronged the residence of the ‘Super Micchua’ actor with cakes and flower bouquets. However, Babushaan’s wife Trupti was nowhere to be seen.

Amid the ongoing hate saga, several adorable pictures of Babushaan and Trupti (which were often shared by Babushaan or fans on social media platforms) are now going viral and fans just love it.

“In connection with the family dispute, two cases were registered at Kharvel Nagar police station and Babushaan had been summoned. The actor along with his mother Aparajita Mohanty and  relative Rabi Mishra visited the police station today,” said IIC Swain. 

On this occasion, his friends and well wishers wished the controversy involving him and Prakruti MIshra to die down soon. They also wished the actor all success in his career.
