Actor Babushaan Mohanty Saturday presented himself before police and is cooperating with the investigation, said inspector-in-charge of Kharvel Nagar police station in Bhubaneswar, Arun Swain.
“In connection with the family dispute, two cases were registered at Kharvel Nagar police station and Babushaan had been summoned. The actor along with his mother Aparajita Mohanty and relative Rabi Mishra visited the police station today,” said Swain.
“The police asked him questions pertinent to the two cases and the actor cooperated with the investigation. He answered all the questions. Both of them (Babushaan and Prakruti) belong to reputed families and they know what they should do for the betterment of their families,” added Swain.
When asked about the investigation, Swain said, “Our investigation is underway. After investigating from all possible angles, action as per law would be taken.”
During questioning, Aparajita Mohanty and Rabi Mishra were with Babushaan, said the police officer.
Notably, today is the birthday of Babushaan. Earlier, while close relatives, family friends visited the actor’s house, hundreds of fans thronged outside his house to catch a glimpse of the actor. Babushaan too didn’t disappoint them and waved at them from the balcony.
All including his relatives, friends and fans wished the dispute to end soon and the actor return to film shooting.
