The body of a judge of special POCSO court in Cuttack was recovered from his official residence at CDA sector-9 in Cuttack on Friday.

Saying "I love you" once to a girl is not an intentional insult to her modesty, at most it amounts to expressing a feeling of love, a special court here observed while acquitting a 23-year-old man booked under the POCSO Act.

Deciding the case today, the court found that the evidence against the accused was insufficient and therefore, acquitted the duo.

The Special Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) court judge charged the accused guilty of committing the crime in Soro area of Balasore district and awarded the sentence.

A special POCSO court in Mayurbhanj district on Tuesday awarded a 62-year-old man to 10 years rigourous imprisonment after convicting him of sexually assaulting a two-and-a-half year old girl in 2014.
