The state now has 5,513 active COVID-19 cases while 10,12,116 patients including 634 on Tuesday have so far recovered from the highly infectious disease.
The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 1.11%.
With this, the active cases in the State increased to 31,231 while 8,77,540 patients recovered, including 3,233 on Wednesday, from the disease so far.
The number of deaths due to Covid-19 continues unabated with 37 more patients succumbing to the virus in Odisha in the last 24 hours even as new infection dropped significantly to 3806 in the State.
Odisha recorded 6,097 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday. With this, the positive tally in the State surged to 8,37,226, the State I&PR Department informed
