Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday (May 18) inaugurated the revamped, renovated periphery of the famous Shakti Peetha of Maa Tara Tarini, the presiding deity of Ganjam district.

Strongly condemning the egg attack by certain Opposition party members at the carcade of Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik in Puri yesterday, BJD vice-president and Khandapada MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik stated that he does not believe in pelting of eggs to express displeasure and revolt.

Opposition members hurled eggs at CM Naveen Patnaik’s carcade near Hospital chhak in Puri on Wednesday (Nov 24). The CM was returning after the foundation laying of historic Shree Jagannath Heritage Corridor Project when some protesters pelted eggs at his carcade. Black flags were also waived at the CM convoy as a mark of protest.
