A Plus 2 second year girl student of Samanta Chandra Sekhar (SCS) Autonomous College in Puri allegedly died by suicide on Monday.

Moreover, police are yet to ascertain why and on what circumstances Ruchika, a plus 3 first year student of History (Hons) at the BJB college, committed suicide.

According to sources, a Plus 2 second year Commerce student has lodged a complaint at Badagada police station accusing some classmates of having assaulted him and snatched away his motorcycle. 

Ruchika Mohanty, a Plus 3 first-year History (Hons) student of BJB College was found hanging in her room in Karubaki Hostel on Saturday.
