The Cyclonic Storm Jawad will most likely turn into a deep depression tonight before nearing the coast of Puri on December 5, 2021, informed the DG of Indian Meteorological Department, Mrutyunjay Mohapatra on Saturday.

The MeT Centre in Bhubaneswar on Saturday said that people in the areas, which are likely to get affected by the cyclonic storm 'Jawad', should move to safer places before it comes closer to the Puri Coast on Sunday.
The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre has issued an advisory for the residents of the Twin Cities (Bhubaneswar, Cuttack) in view of the cyclone Jawad, which is fast approaching the Puri coast.
The revised datesheet for the rescheduled examinations will be uploaded later by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Bhubaneswar will record very heavy rainfall on Saturday evening. Puri will record 11cm rainfall during the evening to night hours on Dec 4. Cyclone Jawad will weaken into a deep depression near Puri coast.
The Bhubaneswar Centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed that cyclone Jawad is likely to reach West Central Bay of Bengal (BoB) off North Andhra Pradesh–south Odisha coasts by tomorrow morning (Dec 4).
However, if there is any exam schedule planned earlier, it may be conducted with utmost care under the supervision of the district administration
