Amidst the threat of another cyclone hitting Odisha coast on Dec 4th, Bhubaneswar MeT Centre has said that the low pressure is active over the central area of Andaman Sea.

The low-pressure system formed over the Central Andaman Sea has been active and will intensify into Depression by tomorrow while moving in the West-Southwest direction, informed the Bhubaneswar Centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

As per the latest forecast by the Bhubaneswar Centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the low pressure area over South Thailand and neighbourhood with the associated cyclonic circulation is likely to intensify and reach North Andhra Pradesh-Odisha coasts by the morning of 4th December, 2021.
