The PCC president said, "A roadshow will be conducted in Rourkela, from Rajgangpur to Sundargarh, Gadagaon and Uttara. He will have a night halt at Jharsuguda on February 7. The next morning, he will lead the Yatra to Belpahar, Hrudaynagar, and Kanaktara before entering Chhattisgarh."

The PCC president said that Kharge will also meet senior party leaders and will hold talks with the leaders of these parties aligned with the INDIA bloc The PCC president urged the people of Odisha to support the Samavesh to make it a success.
Odisha in-charge of Congress Ajoy Kumar said, “Those leaders who are with us will be called for discussion. Our fight is to save the country. Our fight is to save Odisha. The fruit of patience is sweet.”
Congress corporator Santosh Bhola said, "Massive irregularities have been done in Bali Yatra projects. The Committee that was formed to probe the scam has not made its report public. I was inquiring about it on Friday. The CMC is not interested in looking into the irregularities.”
As the elections are drawing closer, the state Congress saw one leader after another staging a comeback into its fold after veteran leader Ajoy Kumar was assigned as party’s state in-charge.

The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) launched a dawn-to-dusk bandh on Tuesday from 6 am to 6 pm over alleged paddy procurement irregularities in mandis in Deogarh.
