Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Odisha on February 6 when his party’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will be reaching here. The Congress MP will reach Biramitrapur in Sundargarh in the evening, where he will receive a warm welcome from party leaders and workers, informed Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee president, Sarat Pattanayak on Wednesday.

Thereafter, Rahul Gandhi will lead the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra through parts of three organizational districts - Sundargarh, Rourkela, and Jharsuguda. 

Pattanayak said, "Rahul Gandhi will tentatively arrive at Biramitrapur on February 6th night. A roadshow will be conducted in Rourkela, from Rajgangpur to Sundargarh, Gadagaon and Uttara. He will have a night halt at Jharsuguda on February 7. The next morning, he will lead the Yatra to Belpahar, Hrudaynagar, and Kanaktara before entering Chhattisgarh. All the programmes will be finalized by the evening.”

He also stated that after Rahul Gandhi, other prominent leaders of Congress will be visiting the state in the near future.  

After AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge’s recent visit, Rahul Gandhi's visit is expected to boost the morale of the party leaders and workers.

Two days ago, AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge attended his party-sponsored Odisha Banchao Samavesh in Bhubaneswar and met the leaders of eight parties of the INDIA bloc and discussed strategies for the upcoming polls.
