The programme was organised as per the direction of the Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA). 

The Opposition parties accused the Odisha government of announcing projects and approving grants to woo tribal voters.

"If the Chief Minister starts visiting places two-three months ahead of the general election, we will not oppose. But we will ask where he was all these days,” said Leader of Opposition (LoP) Jayanarayan Mishra. 

He alleged that the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has made the state an ‘ATM of Gandhi Family’.
