Amid rising demands for a hybrid pattern, the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) Class 12 Term-1 exams for minor subjects are kicking off today while ICSE Class 10 exams have been scheduled from next week.
As per the circular, the facility for change of examination city/country will be available for the students who are residing in some other city/country and not in the city/country where they are studying because of Covid-19 situation.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finalized the new OMR-sheet system to be implemented during the Term 1 MCQ papers for Class 10 and 12 Board exams. The exams which will commence from November 16 will be conducted within 90-minutes and will have maximum 60 questions.
The exams for minor subjects for class 10 will be held from November 17 to December 7, while it will be conducted from November 16 to December 30 for class 12 students.
Students of Class 10 and 12, who are all set to appear for CBSE offline exams for Term 1 paper have expressed their viewpoints regarding the same.

The board said the exams will be objective-type and the duration of the tests will be 90 minutes. The exams will start from 11.30 am instead of 10.30 am, keeping in view the winter season.
With the Term-1 Board exams for Classes 10 and 12 all set to kick off in November, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reportedly come up with some new rules and guidelines for students appearing in the exams.
As per the latest CBSE circular, the request for all the processes will be accepted only ‘Online’ along with processing charge. No application after schedule and in offline mode will be accepted.
The board had earlier announced to divide the board exams for Class X and Class XII into two parts, i.e. Term 1 and Term 2. The board had also decided that the final score of the students would be calculated on the basis of her/his performance in both terms.
