The Class 10 exams have started from April 26 and will conclude on May 24. Similarly, the Class 12 board examinations will continue till June 15.
As per the schedule, the Class 10 exam, which began on April 26, will be conducted for 29 days and will be over on May 24. The Class 12 examination will be conducted for 51 days and end on June 15, 2022.
For the Term II exams, the CBSE has made some changes in the format of filling the centre code in the answersheets of Class 10.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also dropped from the course content chapters on 'democracy and diversity'.
It is pertinent to mention here that CBSE annually provides curriculum for classes 9 to 12 containing academic content, syllabus for examinations with learning outcomes, pedagogical practices and assessment guidelines

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday clarified on a notification being circulated on social media regarding weightage to term 1 and term 2 board exams in the final results, terming it as ‘Fake’.
The first term examination of class 10 was held from November 30 to December 11, 2021, while class 12 first term examination was conducted from December 1 to December 22 last year across the country at various exam centres.
"CBSE should not delay the result announcement as it will create more confusion and students may not be able to give 100 per cent during preparation for the Term 2 exam"
As per the decision, the exam timings will be 10:30 am and won't be conducted in two shifts.
Some students had filed a plea in the Supreme Court demanding cancellation of board exams 2020, but the SC rejected the plea throwing the ball in the court of the concerned authorities
