The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has drawn up massive plans for zero error evaluation of the answer copies after the conduct of the Class 10 board examinations 2024. The CBSE has shot off a reminder to all functionaries to be involved in the evaluation process about their responsibilities so that the evaluation is done with zero errors.

In its latest notice, the CBSE has asked its affiliated schools to relive teachers for evaluation. The board stated that it has been decided to depute one PGT/TGT ( teaching/ having qualifications in Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and one PGT/TGT (teaching/ having qualifications in Geography, History, Economics, Political Science) as AHE (evaluators) for quality evaluation in Science and Social Science of class 10.

The teachers will assist evaluators. As per the CBSE, the number of answer copies to be evaluated has been fixed 20 per day in main subjects (having maximum marks 80/70) and 25 in remaining subjects having less maximum marks. This has been done to provide sufficient time for quality evaluation.

The entire evaluation will be done for about 10-12 days except on Sundays. Answer books are to be evaluated in 8 hours duration and the evaluators will not be allowed to leave the spot evaluation centre before closing time, CBSE letter to its affiliated schools read.
