The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the modalities and schedule for the verification of marks, obtaining photocopy of the evaluated answer book (s) and re-evaluation of marks of the Senior Secondary compartment exam (Class 12) 2021 the results of which were announced recently.
As per the latest CBSE circular, the request for all the processes will be accepted only ‘Online’ along with processing charge.
No application after schedule and in offline mode will be accepted. In case where there is change in marks (increase or decrease), such candidates shall have to surrender the mark sheet-cum-certificate.

Verification of Marks:
-Processing fee for each subject is Rs 500
-The result of verification of marks will be communicated through the official website, a letter will be sent to the applicant by concerned Regional office of CBSE (in case of change of marks) and no letter will be sent in case of no change in marks.
-Only those candidates who will apply for verification of marks online will be eligible to apply for obtaining photocopy of the answer book (s) in those subjects.
Application for obtaining photocopy of the evaluated answer book:
-Only those candidates who applied for verification of marks online will be eligible to apply for obtaining photocopy of the answer book (s) in those subjects.
-Processing fee of Rs 700 per subject for Class 12 will be charged.
-Application submitted on behalf of the candidate and also incomplete application will be summarily rejected and fees deposited shall be forfeited without any further reference.
-Photocopy of the evaluated answer book will be provided in the candidate’s log-in account after blocking all information relating to the identity of the examiner/evaluator and other official associated with the examination process.
-Applicants will be provided scanned copy of the answer book in their login account.
-If the candidate desires to challenge the marks awarded to any question, then he/she will have to apply as per the schedule for re-evaluation of marks.
Re-Revaluation of Evaluated Answer Book (s)
-Only those candidates who have applied for obtaining photocopy of the evaluated answer book shall be eligible to apply for re-evaluation or challenge the marks awarded to any question (s).
-Request for re-evaluation /challenges shall be accepted only for theory portion @ Rs 100 per question.
-Result of the evaluation will be final and no appeal or review against re-evaluation would be entertained.
