The results of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2021 which was conducted earlier this September have been declared on Wednesday (September 29).
Piyush Chanduka is the B.Tech topper this year while Laxmi Priya Senapati emerged topper in B.Pharm. Ashutosh Rath has topped in MBA, and Nishikanta Parida bagged the top position in MCA.
A total of 49,360 candidates had appeared for the entrance examination out of which 49,279 have been allotted ranks.
The exam was held from September 6 to September 18, 2021 across 60 centres. The exam was originally scheduled to be held in June but was later postponed in view of the pandemic situation.
OJEE - 2021 was conducted across 30 districts in Odisha in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for all the courses. The exam conducting body this year added nine new places in the state for exam centre including Bhawanipatna, Nabarangpur, Boudh, Nuapada, Deogarh, Puri, Kendrapara, Malkangiri and Sonepur.
This year the examinations were also conducted at three places outside Odisha including Patna, Ranchi and Kolkata.
In its latest public notice, the UGC has asked Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) to ensure the inclusion of external expert in the committee constituted for the up-gradation from JRF to SRF.
