If media reports are to be believed, then the results of class 10 and 12 Board examinations are expected to be announced in April end.

If a student does not perform well in one semester or board exam, then she/he will get another chance during the next semester as per the new National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for school education, sources said.

This year the board exams conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) commenced from February 14. While the Class 10 exam continued till March 21, the Class 12 exam concluded on April 5.

More multiple-choice questions to be asked and weightage for short and long answer questions reduced, tweeted PTI quoting CBSE officials on Thursday.

The government did a fact-check on it. PIB Fact Check took to its official Twitter handle to share a screenshot of the forwarded message, informing the stakeholders that the claim is false.

It is pertinent to mention here that the CBSE annually provides the curriculum for Classes 9 to 12 containing academic content, syllabus for examinations with learning outcomes, pedagogical practices, and assessment guidelines.

As per the board, the Practical Examinations will be conducted from 10 March 2023 to 29 March 2023 in the examination centres fixed for theory examinations. 

In its latest notice, the CBSE has stated that certain unscrupulous elements have created a link claiming that the Board has circulated 30 sample papers for Class 10, 12 exams.

The Class X examinations will be conducted for 16 days and will conclude on March 21, 2023, while Class XII examinations will be held for 36 days and will end on April 5.

In its latest notice, the CBSE stated that like every year, this time also focus will be ‘error free assessment’ which is an important step of any examination.

Students appearing for the examinations will be required to collect their admit cards from their respective schools. 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has claimed to have made elaborate arrangements to ease of the burden and make the students ready.

According to the notification issued by the CBSE, the board exams will start from 15 February 2023.

CBSE has categorically stated that if a student is absent in practical examinations/ project/ internal assessment for session 2022-23, the student will be marked absent in the online system.

The CBSE has come up with a dedicated portal for students who need special facilities. It is pertinent to mention here that CWSN approached the CBSE seeking facilities or exemptions just before the conduct of the examination.
