CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams 2024: Board releases sample papers, curriculum for students

Ahead of the crucial 2024 board examinations, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the sample papers and curriculum for the Class 10 and 12 students.

It is pertinent to mention here that the CBSE annually provides the curriculum for Classes 9 to 12 containing academic content, syllabus for examinations with learning outcomes, pedagogical practices, and assessment guidelines.

In its latest notice, the CBSE has asked the schools offering foundational or preparatory education to adhere to the recommendations regarding curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, and other areas described in detail in the NCFFS-2022 and guidelines.

The direction is mainly due to the fact that the CBSE has adopted National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage – 2022.

"Sample question papers with detailed designs of the “question paper are also available on CBSE’s website to reflect the impact of changes made in the curriculum,” CBSE said in its notice.

"Sample question papers also provide students with an idea of the exam pattern and the type of questions that may be asked in the actual examination in order to ensure transparency and reduce stress," CBSE added.

Apart from this, the students will also get a clear understanding of the weightage of different topics and the marking scheme to be followed by going through these sample question papers.
