The AICTE has also decided that two supernumerary seats per course will be reserved for Covid-orphaned children covered under the 'PM CARES' scheme in all affiliated polytechnic institutions from the upcoming academic session 2022-23.
As per the latest AICTE notice, a candidate should have passed minimum 3-years / 2-years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45 percent marks (40%o marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category SC/ST) in any branch of Engineering and Technology.
