The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has invited online applications from approved institutions/students for the disbursement of PG Scholarships through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode. It is for the eligible students admitted in various AICTE approved institutions/ courses in 2021-22.

As per the latest notice, the last date for the submission of online applications under AICTE PG Scholarship Scheme has been extended up to February 28, 2022.

The last date for the student verification by respective institutions including re-submitted defective applications on AICTE web portal is March 15, 2022.

The students who are eligible and are admitted in the AICTE approved institutions and AICTE approved courses, as per scheme guidelines, may submit their application in the portal online.

“The students are advised to submit their online applications well in time so that their institutions are able to verify applications within the prescribed timelines. Applications received after the last date shall not be entertained,” the AICTE notice read.

As per AICTE, the eligible institutions are also advised to verify applications of their students immediately after receiving the applications on the online portal.

Apart from this, online proposals for financial assistance to support Student Clubs (at institutions) are invited under the scheme AICTE-Scheme for Promoting Interests, Creativity and Ethics among Students (SPICES) from AICTE approved institutions for the academic year 2021-22. As per the official notice, a financial assistance of Rs 1 Lakh to a Student Club to develop it as model Club will be provided.
