New Delhi: Facebook has come up with yet another smartphones application for sharing photos on the social networking site.

The new app, called Moments, aims to increase the number of photos being shared on the site especially the recently updated privately-shared album option.

The app also identifies people on Facebook and lets the user choose if they want to share a particular photo with the person identified.

As soon as the app boots up after installation, it checks out the entire smartphone's camera roll and puts them in a private bucket. There is a second bucket called synced which the user can toggle and choose to share photos with friends.

The app is available for iOS and Android devices from their respective app stores.
