Spot counseling for MBBS seats begins
Bhubaneswar: The spot counseling to fill vacant MBBS and BDS seats began on Tuesday at the OJEE cell at Gandamunda in Bhubaneswar. The counseling of the students is being done based on their AIPMT ranking.
Informing the media OJEE chairman Dr Tusharkant Nath said, “Two MBBS seats each in SCB medical college and hospital in Cuttack and MKCG in Berhampur have fallen vacant after the third round of counseling while 38 MBBS seats at Hi-Tech are yet to be filled up.
He also said 16 BDS seats at SCB medical college and Hospital and 23 BDS seats at Hi-tech in Bhubaneswar have also remained vacant.
“In case MBBS and BDS seats still remain vacant after the spot counseling, they will be filled up by the students who have secured rank in special OJEE”, Nath added.
