Balasore youth dies of dengue in Delhi

New Delhi: Shantanu Kumar Behera, a resident of Soro in Balasore district, died of dengue in Delhi yesterday.

Behera was rushed to Bharat Hospital after tested positive for dengue. As his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to Bara Hindu Rao Hospital where he breathed his last.

Behera was working with a garment businessman in Samayapur in Badali area in Delhi.

This is the second death of an Odia due to dengue in Delhi. Earlier, on September 8, a 7-year-old Avinash had died of dengue following which parents of the kid, who hailed from Kendrapara district, committed suicide. The couple’s son was denied admission at two prominent private hospitals in the nation’s capital.
