In a remarkable story of tenacity and dedication, an IIM Bangalore graduate secured an impressive AIR-13 to become an IAS officer in the recently announced UPSC CSE 2023 results. Priyamvada Ashok Mhaddalkar had left her high-paying job to prepare for UPSC.

Despite a difficult road to success, her hard work paid off as she has secured All India Rank-13. After graduating from IIM Bangalore with a B. Tech in Electronics Engineering and later an MBA, Priyamvada was in the field of investment banking.

With a lucrative job, she was doing well in life. However, fate had different plan for her. Priyamvada made a brave decision to leave her corporate job and pursue her goal of becoming an IAS officer. Instead of going to coaching institutes, she decided to focus on self-study and online education.

With her commitment and sheer will power, she overcame all the obstacles during her preparation journey. She also had to contend with juggling her rigorous preparations with her obligations to her family.

Priyamvada’s parents fully supported her and instilled in her a strong desire to give it back to the society. Her perseverance and will power helped her triumph over any challenge. Her journey proves that you can achieve anything in life if you have the power to sacrifice temporary happiness for your long term goals.
