12 children rescued in Odisha’s Keonjhar

Keonjhar: As many as 24 children were rescued from Bramhanipal area under Daitari police limits in Odisha’s Keonjahr district on Saturday evening.

According to reports, the children were rescued from a thatched house near Bramhanipal after the police raided a company called Dugdha Madhu Desh.

The police along with CWC members, DCPO and Harichandanpur tehsiladr had conducted the raid on being directed by the district administration.

All the rescued children belong to Jajpur, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts.

Meanwhile, the police have sent them to an open shelter in Keonjhar.
