Ministry reshuffle buzz gets louder, CM says decision soon

Bhubaneswar: Keeping the lids on, Chief minister Naveen Patnaik today once again intensified the buzz over ministry reshuffle in Odisha.

Replying to a query on expansion or reshuffle of ministry after review of Bolangir and Nayagarh PRI representatives today at the party office here, Patnaik said, “Be patient. You will know about this very shortly.”

On party MP Baijayant Panda’s remarks on conspiracy being hatched to oust some leaders from the party, the BJD supremo said, “I don’t think it is at all correct.”

Meanwhile, Minister for Small and Medium Enterprises department Jogendra Behera commented on the possible ministry reshuffle by saying he will work as per the party chief’s directive.

According to sources, Lal Bihari Himrika, Yogendra Behera, Snehangini Chhuria, Sudam Marandi and Pushpendra Singhdeo are likely to be dropped from the ministry during the possible reshuffle besides some young ministers being diverted to connect with masses at grassroots.
