There will be no large change in the maximum temperature (day temperature) during the next two days in Odisha, predicted the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday.

As per IMD’s Regional Centre in Bhubaneswar, the maximum temperature at few places in Odisha is likely to be above normal by 3 to 4 degrees in the next two days. However, there will be a gradual decrease in the maximum temperature thereafter.

A cyclonic circulation lies over south Coastal Odisha and neighbourhood and trough from northeast Bay of Bengal to central parts of Bay of Bengal has become less marked, said IMD.

Yellow Warning( Be updated): Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Boudh, Angul, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Balasore.

Day-2 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 14.06.2022 up to 0830 hrs IST of 15.06.2022)

Yellow Warning( Be updated): Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj.

Day-3 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 15.06.2022 up to 0830 hrs IST of 16.06.2022)
