A man has been winning hearts online with his unusual yet creative proposal to his girlfriend that has left netizens emotional and smiling at the same time. The heartfelt ‘Will you marry me’ proposal is undoubtedly one of the best things one can see on the internet today.
The video starts with a couple sitting at a cafe and enjoying together. All of a sudden, the woman’s closest friends appear from nowhere and start handing her several love notes. One after another, at least 25 of her friends and family handed her over the love notes.
‘Excuse me, you dropped this,” they say to the lady as they hand over the love notes. This makes her emotional and she begins to get teary-eyed. Later, after all the 25 friends and family hand her over the love notes, the man gets down on his knees and proposes her with ‘will you marry me’ note.
The man chose this particular way to propose his girlfriend because that’s how they both sent each other love notes while they worked as co-workers. They were working for the same company where relationships with co-workers were not allowed. So, they dated in secret and would slip love notes to each other on the job by saying ‘Excuse me, you dropped this.’
The man had saved all of their love notes for this moment. Interestingly, he had orchestrated all of this at the coffee shop they had their first date.
Since shared on Instagram, the video has garnered over 278K likes with thousands of comments from social media users.
