Bride calls off marriage after drunk groom starts abusing on wedding stage

The mandap was all set, all arrangements were in place, and guests too had arrived, but at the last moment, the bride refused to marry the groom after he abused her family in a drunken state on the wedding stage.

According to Live Hindustan reports, the incident took place in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh.

Reportedly, it all started when the 'baraat' arrived at the venue of the wedding. The groom and some of his relatives who were part of the 'baraat' were apparently under the influence of alcohol. 

As per reports, the groom’s father had not come for the wedding which left the bride’s side a little dissatisfied. 

However, their dissatisfaction made the groom irate and he expressed his displeasure to the bride’s father and other members.

He also abused the bride's family. Reportedly, he even threatened that he would deal with them over the issue once the wedding was over. 

The unfolding events left the bride shocked and she decided to call off the wedding with the groom who too is said to be a drug addict.

After the bride's refusal for the marriage, there was uproar at the venue. Later, the groom’s family tried to convince the bride for the marriage but she didn’t give in and remained firm on her decision.
