Girl cuts power supply of entire village every night to meet lover, finally gets married

In an unusual turn of events, a girl from Bihar would cut off the power supply to her village whenever she wanted to meet her lover. Villagers were troubled by the frequent power cuts until they realised what was actually causing them.

The girl identified as Preeti Kumari from Bihar’s Bettiah would cut off the power supply every time she went to meet her boyfriend Rajkumar in the dark. The affair finally came to light after villagers caught them red-handed.

Later, the couple was married off by the villagers.

“Preeti used to cut off the electricity of the village every night due to which many thefts were reported in the village. We were troubled by that girl,” a villager was quoted by India Today.

Disturbed by repeated power cuts, the villagers decided to find out the reason. They were shocked to find Preeti and Rajkumar together snapping the power supply.

Irate villagers brutally thrashed the young man. However, the young girl stood up for him and admitted to snapping the power supply. A video has now gone viral on social media where villagers can be seen beating up Rajkumar and Preeti trying to save him.

Following a meeting, the villagers then got the couple married at a local temple.
