Along with the incessant rainfall across different states of India, several distressing reports and visuals surfaced showing scary incidents. While property damages and loss of lives emerged as major concerns for people, certain scary visuals of wild animals venturing into the residential area also surfaced.

Recently, videos of two crocodiles have surfaced in which the reptiles are seen strolling on roads near residential areas. The videos were captured by the locals on their mobile cameras.

The first video is from Kota, Rajasthan in which one crocodile can be seen crossing a road while some vehicles can be seen moving on the road. The crocodile walks towards the other side of the road where some shops and thatched houses can be seen. After crossing the road, the reptile enters inside a drain on the roadside.

As per certain reports, the incident was captured near the Commerce College main road in Talwandi area. Commuters stopped their vehicles allowing the three-and-a-half-foot crocodile to cross the road. Crocodiles are occasionally seen in the city as it is located on the bank of Chambal River and has a Gharial sanctuary. It is claimed that flooding could have brought the crocodile into the city.

In another video, a crocodile can be seen slowly crawling on a waterlogged road. The video was shot by a passerby. The unusual sighting was captured in Gujarat’s Talala after the water level in the Hiran River rose.

Though the original source of the videos couldn’t be obtained, they have gone viral on social media. Indian Forest Services (IFS) Official Susanta Nanda shared the videos on Twitter. The videos have triggered mixed reactions from netizens.
