Odisha to conduct Special Summary Revision for Nuapada Constituency ahead of by-election

In view of the upcoming Nuapada by-election, a Special Summary Revision (SSR) for the Nuapada Assembly Constituency will be conducted. 

Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha has issued a notification in this regard on Saturday.

"The Election Commission of India has directed a Special Summary Revision (SSR) u/s 21 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950 with reference to 01.07.2025 as the qualifying date to be conducted in 71-Nuapada Assembly Constituency of Odisha where Bye-Election is due shortly," read the notification issued by Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha.

Re-arrangement / modification of polling stations by 14.09.2025 (Sunday)

Publication of integrated draft electoral roll on  15.09.2025 (Monday)

Period for filing claims & objections from 15.09.2025 (Monday)to 29.09.2025 (Monday).

Disposal of claims and objections by 07.10.2025 (Tuesday) 

Final publication of electoral roll on 09.10.2025 (Thursday)
