Popular instant messaging app WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that allows users to access their accounts on up to four mobile devices.

However, many people are worried about the possibility of their accounts being linked to another device, leading to potential data breaches.

Here are some ways to ensure your WhatsApp account remains secure and private, even when accessed from multiple devices.

Preventing unauthorised access:

To ensure the security of your WhatsApp account, the first step is to make sure that your device's passcode or fingerprint lock is kept confidential and not shared with anyone.

If someone links your account to another device, he/she will require your mobile passcode or fingerprint lock to do so.

Therefore, it is important to keep these details safe and not share them with anyone.

Log Out of all linked devices:

If you suspect that someone has access to your WhatsApp account, you can easily log out of all devices with a single click.

First, open your WhatsApp account and click on the three-dot menu on the right.

From the options, select "Linked Devices," and you will see a list of all devices linked to your account.

Click on the device you want to log out of, and then click on "Log Out of Device."
