For instance, users can ask the glasses questions about their surroundings and receive hands-free, helpful information.

According to reports, the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses boast a range of cutting-edge technologies, including integrated audio and an ultra-wide 12 MP camera.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, emphasised the seamless integration of these smart glasses into daily life, stating, "Our multimodal AI update allows Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses to be a seamless extension of your senses."

Moreover, these glasses offer translation capabilities, enabling users to simply say, "Hey, Meta, look and translate this."

They also support voice messaging on WhatsApp, video calls, live streaming, and video recording. During cooking, they can even provide recipe suggestions.

Initially available through an early access program, the multimodal AI is now accessible to all users, according to reports.

Industry experts anticipate this technology to revolutionise the role of AI, not only in automating tasks but also in enhancing entertainment experiences.
