BJP To Form Government In Odisha: Amit Shah
Once again reiterating that the BJP will form the government in Odisha, Union Home Minister Amit Shah today said that the BJP had sensed and was hopeful of a change in Odisha much before the turnout of such a huge crowd in Cuttack.

“The main issue here is Odia pride and respect of people. We have no dispute with Naveen babu but the people of Odisha have a problem with the officer from outside running the government here,” said Shah adding that the people in Odisha are filled with resentment about the way attempts were made here to stop the Ram Utsav.

Reopening Of Puri Srimandir Gates

Apart from this, the investigation report of Puri Ratna Bhandar's missing keys will be made public within one month, he said.

Returning Money To Chit Fund-Duped Investors And Action Against Guilty

In the exclusive interview with OTV during his roadshow in Cuttack, Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that the BJP in its manifesto has clearly stated to return money to all duped investors of the multi-crore chit fund scam in Odisha.

“In BJP’s manifesto, we have clearly stated that we will return the money to the duped investors within 1.5 years. The Odisha government is not cooperating with the Centre on action against those involved in the chit fund scam. Once there is a double-engine government in Odisha, all of them will go to jail,” said Shah adding that the BJP CM would take oath on June 10, 2024.

Earlier in the day, Amit Shah in an interview with ANI stated that, “People in Odisha want a change as CM Naveen Patnaik should admit that there has been not much development in the state in comparison to other states in the country. The issue of Odia pride is also important and people somewhere think that someone else is running the government behind CM Naveen Patnaik. The way the administration there used the government and tried to stop the Ram Utsav, it has sparked resentment among people.”

On the CM face in Odisha, Amit Shah said, “In BJP we have a lot of experienced leaders who have been in active politics for the last 20 years and several others have also joined us. There is no leadership crisis in BJP.”
