There seems to be no let up in the controversy over the road mishap involving a Range Rover and a bike in Bhubaneswar that led to the death of a girl recently.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists on Wednesday staged a demonstration in Jharsuguda demanding a detailed investigation to ascertain who was involved in the road accident. Similarly, the BJP wanted to know whether there was involvement of Jharsuguda MLA Dipali Das’ brother Bishal in the incident or not. The SUV belongs to a company in which Bishal happens to be the Director, sources said.

Deceased Lopamudra’s relative, a retired CISF personnel, is now battling for his life at the hospital following the accident that occurred at Power House Chhak in Bhubaneswar.

Meanwhile, Twin City Police Commissioner Saumendra Priyadarshi today said that a detailed investigation into the accident involving the Range Rover will be conducted.
