Puja vacation declared for Odisha schools 

 The holidays will start from October 20 and continue till October 29 with two Sundays in between.

The Odisha government on Friday declared Puja vacation for schools in the state for the upcoming Durga Puja. The holidays will start from October 20 and continue till October 29 with two Sundays in between. 

The schools will remain closed from October 20 till October 29. 

The Directorate of the Secondary Education and the Directorate of Elementary Education issued notifications in this regard on Friday. All the District education officers have been intimated for information and necessary action.  

October 14 has also been declared as a holiday on account of Mahalaya.
