Yash Raj banners can be considered pioneers in introducing many new things and styles in Bollywood. Be it Yash Chopra’s signature romance in Switzerland with female-centric themes or YRF introducing the spy universe first with Dhoom and now with Ek Tha Tiger, Pathaan, and War. India’s leading production house has always believed in experimenting with something new.

With War 2, the production house is once again gearing up to raise the bars in action and stunt-based sequences. Currently, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR are shooting for this sequel under the directorship of Ayan Mukerji.

There is a strong buzz that War 2 will be a cinematic enigma when it comes to death-defying stunts and actions. Recently Hrithik and Jr NTR shot for a speed boat chase shot that took almost six days to shoot. To ensure that the shooting was carried out without any casualties the team mounted the massive speed boat. It took them around 3 months to design this speed boat.

Jaw-dropping action sequences in War 2

A day ago it was shot under the able guidance of technicians and stunt-directors to ensure proper safety. Reports indicate that the Krrish star and the Southern superstar underwent a bit of training under the guidance of Franz Spilhaus, a South African action director.

Spilhaus is known for choreographing action sequences in huge hits like Dominion, War, and Tiger 3. He along with Jason Martin conceptualised and choreographed this speed boat chase sequence from War 2. Martin is a renowned Marine Coordinator known for choreographing action sequences in huge Hollywood movies like One Piece, Resident Evil, Tom Raider, and The Crown.

Apart from this speed boat chase shot, this YRF movie will also have a jaw-dropping face-off between the RRR actor and Hrithik Roshan . This spine-tingling sequence will take place inside an aircraft and is being choreographed by Franz Spillhaus. Apart from that War 2 will also have many more shocking action scenes including a sword-fighting sequence set in Japan with Shaolin temple as backdrop.
