The mystery behind the sudden disappearance of Canara Bank branch manager Tapan Kumar Sahu further deepened after he was rescued from Ganjam district late on Wednesday evening. 

The bank manager who was mysteriously missing for the last three days was rescued from Girisola in Ganjam district. He was on his way to Girisola from Andhra Pradesh on his motorbike when he was traced and taken to the Golanthara Police Station.

Tapan's sudden disappearance and the circumstances under which he reached Ganjam district are yet to be ascertained. According to sources, Sahu was taken into custody by Golanthara Police and was interrogated about his sudden disappearance from Badamba and subsequent appearance in Ganjam district.

Later, the Golanthara Police handed over Sahu to Baideswar Police in Banki, where the missing complaint was initially lodged, informed sources. 

Sahu is the manager of Badamba Branch of Canara Bank. He was on his way back to Badamba, when he mysteriously went missing. He had been missing for the last three days. Earlier, his wife had accused the cops of showing a lackadaisical attitude and not making efforts to trace Sahu. 

When contacted, Golanthara Police said that Sahu was rescued based on his mobile phone tracking.
