Sprouts are prepared by germinating grains or legume seeds. They are essential for complete development because they are high in protein, calcium, fibre, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. But no matter how health-conscious you may be, eating the same thing every day can be tough. Enjoy the different recipes we have shared with you here. 

1. Sprouts Salad

  • 2 cups mixed sprouts 
  • 1 small onion 
  • 1 tomato 
  • ¼ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • and salt to taste 

Rinse your sprouts well with water. The sprouts should then be steamed or boiled until soft. Chop your vegetables finely. Strain the sprouts. Toss together all of the ingredients in a bowl. Combine the spices and lemon juice and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and lemon slices before serving.

2. Stir Fried Sprouts

  • Take1 cup sprouts
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce 
  • ½ tablespoon sugar 
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Few drops of sesame oil
  • and salt to taste. 

Drain any excess water after thoroughly washing the sprouts. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet. When the oil is hot, add the sprouts and stir-fry for a few minutes. Stir in the soy sauce, salt, and sugar a few times. When ready, drizzle with sesame oil and serve.

3. Cucumber Sprouts Salad

  • 1 cup cucumber strips
  • 1 cup sprouts  
  • ½ cup mixed fruits (cubes)
  • and 1 cup chopped spring onions are required for this salad. 
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice 
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil 
  • ½ tablespoon mustard powder 
  • and salt and pepper to taste 
  • Wash and drain all the vegetables. Put the vegetables in a large bowl. 
  • Toss everything together with the dressing. Serve right away.
