Trivandrum topped the list of regions in the country with the highest pass percentage followed by Bengaluru in the Class 12 Board Results published by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday.

As per the official region-wise data shared by the Board, Trivandrum region has come out with the best pass score of 99.89 percent. Bengaluru and Chennai regions are placed in the second and third spots with pass rates of 99.83 percent and 99.77 percent, respectively.

Bhubaneswar region is placed at sixth rank with a pass percentage of 99.55 per cent. The students enrolled in the Bhubaneswar region have performed better than the students in Chandigarh region (99.47 percent), Panchkula (99.54 percent), Pune (99.35 per cent) and Ajmer (99.29 percent).

Here is the performance score of other regions: Delhi West: 99.84 %

Delhi East: 99.84%

Noida: 99.02%

Bhopal: 99.34%

Guwahati: 99.31%

Dehradun: 98.64%

Patna: 98.91%

It is pertinent to mention here that a total of 99.37 per cent students passed the Class 12 exam, the results of which were announced today.

Among the passing students, 99.13 percent are boys and 99.67 percent are girls. The CBSE said that the pass percentage of girls in the board results is 0.54 percent over and above boys.

This year the Class 12 students in in Kendriya Vidyalayas have performed remarkably well with a 100 per cent success rate. Similarly, the Central Tibetan Schools have also registered 100 percent result.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the students for clearing the CBSE Class 12 board examinations. He tweeted, “Congratulations to all my young friends who have successfully passed their Class XII CBSE exams. Best wishes for a bright, happy and healthy future."
