As per its submission before the Supreme Court, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday declared the results of Class 12 board examination, a day before the July 31 deadline.

The total pass percentage recorded in Class 12 this year is 99.37 per cent with 12,96,318 students clearing the board examination.

As per official sources, girls have outshined boys in the results this year. Girls have outperformed boys by 0.54 per cent. While the total pass percentage of girls is 99.67 per cent, 99.13 per cent boys cleared the examination this year.

Senior CBSE officials said that the Class 12 result of 65,000 students is still being prepared and those will be declared by August 5, 2021.

A total of 70,004 students scored over 95 per cent marks in board examinations while a total of 1,50,152 students bagged between 90 per cent to 95 per cent scores.

It is for the first time that the CBSE declared the Class 12 results without conducting the exam as it was cancelled along with the Class 10 board examinations due to Covid-19 pandemic this year.

As the CBSE had not announced the exact date even though the deadline was fixed for July 31, a lot of students as well as their parents were left worried. Many of them flooded the official social media handle of the Board with queries regarding the date of publication of the results.

However, the CBSE later came up with interesting memes to keep the worried students and their parents entertained which provided the much needed respite.

2020 Results At A Glance In 2020: A total of 88.78 per cent students had passed, an increase of 5.38 per cent from 2019. The pass percentage among girls stood at 92.15 per cent and among boys, it was 86.19 per cent.

Steps To Check 2021 Classs 12 Results :The Class 12 CBSE results can be accessed on the official websites -- cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in. The results can also be accessed through various digital platforms like the DigiLocker website – digilocker.gov.in.
