NEET PG 2024: Know expected exam date and other details

The NEET PG aspirants might soon have a better look at their academic future as the National Board of Examinations (NBE) is likely to announce the fresh dates for NEET PG 2024 soon. The much-awaited announcement, after postponement of the exam that was initially scheduled to be held on June 23, is expected to be made this week.

Due to the 'discrepancies' in the conduction of NEET 2024 and cancellation of UGC-NET 2024, the NEET PG 2024 exam also received heat resulting in postponement, as a precautionary measure. The NEET PG exam lets aspirants pursue their MD/MS and PG Diploma across India.

The last minute postponement of the exam put the aspirants on edge anticipating the new dates. Many students and public have expressed their concerns over the delay as the admissions into post graduation are put on hold.

To address the irregularities in the conduction of examination, the Ministry of Education has formed a high-level committee of experts, led by former ISRO chairman Dr K Radhakrishnan. The purpose of this committee is to make reforms in the examinations and eradicate the malpractices in the National Testing Agency (NTA). 

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), comprising over 3.5 lakh doctors as members, addressed the issues faced by NEET PG aspirants and thanked the government for their swift response on the matter.
