NEET MDS round 1 counselling to start from July 7: Check details here

The Medical Counselling Committee is to commence the counselling process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) from July 1, 2024. Interested candidates can apply for the same by visiting the official website.
Here are some major key points to keep in mind for the counselling process
Registration Dates
The registration for the first round of counselling will begin on July 1, 2024 and continue until July 7, 2024, up to 12 NOON (server time) but the payment window will remain open till 3 PM (server time). 

Qualified candidates can register online through the official website, link mcc.nic.in. The process includes registration, payment of the counselling fee, choice filling, and locking of preferences of colleges.
Choice filling and locking
This process helps candidates get a chance to get admitted into their choice of institutes and courses. The choice filling and locking process for NEET MDS will start from July 2, 2024, until July 7, 2024. The option for choice filling will be available till 11:55 PM and the choice locking option will be available from 04:00 PM to 11:55 PM up to July 7, 2024.
Process of seat allotment
The process of seat allotment is to happen on July 8 and July 9, 2024. The seats will be allocated based on the preferences and merit of the candidates.
Result announcement
The results of seat allotment will be announced on July 10, 2024. Candidates are advised to prepare for reporting to their respective institutions here onwards.
Reporting and joining
Candidates must report to their respective colleges between July 11 to July 17, 2024 along with the documents that need to be verified by the colleges.
Verification of data of the new joiners
The institute will start the verification of the data of the newly joined candidates and share the verified data with the MCC from July 18 to July 19, 2024, to update about the admissions.
The admission process consists of a total of four rounds including the online stray vacancy round.  The second round of registration will begin on July 22, 2024 and end on July 28, 2024. The choice filling and locking date starts from July 23, 2024, till July 28, 2024. The process of seat allotment will be done on July 29 and 30, 2024, respectively. The result declaration is scheduled for July 31, 2024. Students are to start reporting at their respective colleges between 1st Aug 2024 to 7th Aug 2024.
